Having a desire to give invaluable service to the nation, Simon Cowell wants to be frozen after his demise.
"American Idol" judge,
Simon Cowell, plans to be frozen when he dies so he can be brought back to life and give his service to the nation. He revealed his plan when he was coming at the dinner with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at 10 Downing Street on February 12, along with columnist Piers Morgan, actress
Amanda Holden, and BBC presenter Christine Bleakley.
"I have decided to freeze myself when I die. You know, cryonics. You pay a lot of money and you get stuck in a deep freeze once you've been declared dead," the "X-Factor" judge announced. "Medical science is bound to work out a way of bringing us back to life in the next century or so, and I want to be available when they do. I would be doing the nation an invaluable service."
Gordon Brown then responded to Simon's plan, "I am not sure me coming back from the dead would be quite as popular as Simon. In fact, there may be a public campaign to stop me being frozen!" But the 49-year-old music mogul told him, "This is still a great country. You just need to make people feel proud of it again, like we do on Britain's Got Talent." Cowell then added. "The British spirit is a powerful and unique one, and we're very talented too."
