Hoping to make the leap to the big screen, former "American Idol" star Jordin Sparks reveals she is looking at some scripts.

Jordin Sparks. The former "American Idol" star hopes to follow in the footsteps of fellow "Idols", making the leap to the big screen.
Jordin opened up to Access Hollywood that a movie role might not be too far off. "I'm looking at some scripts," the singer told Access on at the "
Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience" premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday, February 24. "I'm just looking for the right one."
When asked about who she's rooting for on this season of "American Idol", the Season 6 "Idol" champ mentioned three names. Jordin said, "I voted for Alexis Grace and Danny Gokey, and I really like Cassie Carlson."
