Mischa Barton is no longer dating rocker boyfriend Luke Pritchard. The 23-year-old beauty took to her blog to announce she has split from the member of the English indie rock group The Kooks.
"I'm sure you guys are all going to hear about it soon enough so I just wanted to tell you what is real first -- I broke up with Luke when I got to London," she wrote. "Things just didn't feel quite right," Mischa continued. "There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good and a long distance relationship is never an easy thing to do."
But the actress still speaks highly of her now ex-boyfriend. "I think Luke is a great guy, but the type better suited as a friend," she says. "We have a surprising amount of mutual friends in England and I don't regret our time together, I just couldn't keep it going."
Mischa Barton and Luke Pritchard began dating in December. "I'm very lucky," Luke told Daily Mirror at the time. "She's beautiful, so I feel lucky she decided to go out with someone like me. It came about because we have lots of friends in common and kept going to the same parties."
