It seems that Rihanna doesn't want to be seen in public. An informant close to the Barbados-born singer has revealed to Heat Magazine that she is anxious about appearing in public after allegedly being attacked by Chris Brown.

"She's embarrassed she got beaten up, that the photo of her battered face has been seen by everyone. It's a hard time for her on many fronts," a source told the magazine. The 21-year-old beauty is said to be worried about how the public will respond to her following the very public bust-up with Chris.

"Rihanna has extraordinary low self-esteem, and deep in her heart she worries that she'll never find someone as devoted as Chris," revealed the source. "She worries that she'll never fall in love after him."

The source also said Rihanna "is still very much in love with Chris and cares deeply for him." "Rihanna's family is begging her to take some time for self-reflection before making any major moves," added the source.
