Anne Heche and James Tupper Welcome a Baby Boy

Anne Heche delivered her first child with James Tupper over the weekend, her rep confirmed to Us magazine. The newborn baby is a boy and named Atlas Heche Tupper. He weighed 6 pounds and 12 ounces.

Atlas is the first child for the couple since Heche's split from her husband of five years Colley Laffoon, who gave her a 7-year-old son Homer, on March 10. "Homer is very excited to be a big brother," a source told Us magazine.

Anne Heche and James Tupper first met in 2006 on the set of ABC's drama "Men in Trees" while she was still married to Colley Laffoon. The twosome reportedly has been living together since August 2007.

"In that friendship, we kind of discovered we saw the world in a somewhat similar way," Tupper told the Vancouver Sun in 2007 about dating Heche. "I think we both made decisions that were based on the relationships we were in."
