A friend of Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer said that the couple is no longer dating. "They're definitely broken up, but it was completely amicable," the friend confessed. "I know everyone is looking for the big juicy fight, but there was none." The statement hasn't been confirmed by the twosome though.
Jennifer Aniston began dating John Mayer in April 2008 after she split from model Paul Sculfor in 2007. John was previously rumored dumping Jenn in August 2008, but he had already confirmed to Us magazine at that time that the rumor was untrue.
The on-and-off couple reportedly ended their romance earlier this week after Jenn's recent European tour to promote "Marley & Me" along with her co-star, Owen Wilson. "He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour," a source said at that time. Rumor of the couple's break-up sparked after John was reported buying an engagement ring for Jenn on March 11. But the day after, the rumor was denied by the officer of the jeweler, Lorraine Schwartz.
