Reese Witherspoon's co-stars in "Monsters vs. Aliens", including Seth Rogen, Kiefer Sutherland, Rainn Wilson, Paul Rudd, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, and Amy Poehler, gave her a surprise on her 33rd birthday on Sunday, March 22. Witherspoon felt so glad while all her friends and some audience at Gibson Amphitheater singing "Happy Birthday" for her.
"Thank you for coming to my birthday party...I mean, the screening of Monsters vs. Aliens," she said to the audience at the theater after receiving a birthday cake and blowing up the candles. The 33-year-old beauty also stated that she was so excited about her birthday, saying, "It is a great thing to be able to be doing things with my kids and having them be proud of me. What's better than feeling like you've accomplished things in life?"
Witherspoon attended the premiere of her new flick "Monsters vs. Aliens" along with her co-stars at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 22. Soon after arriving at the venue, all of them were called by Jeffrey Katzenberg, DreamWorks studio head, to go to the stage.
Coming into the stage, Rainn Wilson began to "intervene" Reese Witherspoon. "We have some hard facts to run by you, because we know it takes a full bottle of Nyquil for you to fall asleep at night, so there's something very special that we want to say," Wilson told Witherspoon. After that, all her friends, joined by the theater audience, serenaded her "Happy Birthday". The final verse of the song was sung by Amy Poehler, singing "Happy birthday, Reese WITHERSPOON, Happy birthday to you!"
