Avril Lavigne and Hubby Deryck Whibley's Marriage Is Okay

'They were laughing and cuddling all night,' says a source denying the rumor that Avril Lavigne and hubby Deryck Whibley fought over the weekend.

Despite the report saying that Avril Lavigne and her hubby Deryck Whibley fought at a L.A. club over the weekend, a source confirms to Us Magazine that the couple doesn't have any problems and their marriage is fine. "Avril had a surprise BBQ at the house for him and 20 friends for his birthday," the source says. "They then rented a limo and went to [L.A. club] MyHouse. They were laughing and cuddling all night."

New York Daily News previously reported that Avril and Deryck were partying in L.A. in the weekend, but they didn't seem to enjoy the party. The newspaper said the "Sk8er Boi" singer preferred enjoying the party by herself to being together with her husband, so she was "getting bombed" at MyHouse club and involved in a fight with her 29-year-old husband. "She kept downing vodka drinks, to the point where she was obliterated. She ended up fighting with her husband before ignoring him completely," the newspaper claimed.

Canadian singer Avril Lavigne tied the knot with the lead vocalist of Sum 41 Deryck Whibley on July 15, 2006. Last year, their marriage was rumored to be on the rocks. But soon after the rumor sparked, the 24-year-old singer told In Touch Weekly that she and Deryck were fine and happy, claiming that they still had fun together. "We're best friends. We have so much in common and get along all of the time. He makes me happy," Avril told the magazine at that time.
