Whitney Port and Jay Lyon are reported rekindling their romance after splitting several weeks ago. The twosome was spotted walking together around the West Village in New York City on Monday, March 30, wearing their coats and sun glasses and bringing two bottles of mineral water.

Whitney Port and Jay Lyon began dating last summer following her move to Manhattan to start filming her MTV series "The City". Unfortunately, the couple was reported by In touch Weekly on March 15 to have ended their relationship. It was believed that both of them have agreed to take a break following Lyon's tour with his band Tamarama outside N.Y.C.

Shortly after the break-up, Lyon insisted to rebuild his relationship with Port, who once rumored to have a crush on "Lipstick Jungle" hunk Robert Buckley after she split from Lyon. "I think it was early for our relationship to end," the actor/singer previously told OK! Magazine.

Lyon also admitted that he is still in touch with Port. At that time, he revealed to be planning to stay in N.Y.C for several months to work on his album and hopefully to come back to the 24-year-old beauty. "At the moment we're taking a bit of time for ourselves," he said. "When she gets back to New York we'll see what happens. I definitely don't want to give up on it."
