Going back from a tour to promote her self-titled debut album along with Robin Thicke, Jennifer Hudson recently talked to Shaun Robinson from Access Hollywood about her marriage plans with fiance of 6 months David Otunga. The finalist of "American Idol" season 3 recalled how David got the engagement ring. "David picked it out to match my studs," Jennifer told Shaun. "He went back to Neil Lane and he said he had to get the ring to go with it!"
Although she still kept her wedding date a secret, the 27-year-old songstress revealed that the nuptials will be very unique. "We're both very creative and kind of unique," she said. "I don't want to have the same exact wedding as everyone else...Lord, he might come walking down the aisle for all we know."
Besides, the "Spotlight" hitmaker also hopes to design her own wedding dress, saying "I'm gonna design my own dress. I want to design it...Definitely classic, more traditional than anything. I want it to be nice and traditional, but very classy, very classy." Then, she also expressed her willingness to have her three dogs in attendance. "I want my dogs to be in my wedding. I am so serious," she said of her dogs Oscar, Grammy, and Dreamgirl. "Like Oscar might be the ring bearer or something. We'll send them down the aisle with a little tux or something, a little dress."
Marrying David in the near future, Jennifer has been thinking of expanding her family. "I definitely want a family," she testified. "You know, I'm almost 30 now, so they gotta get started sometime."
