Robert Pattinson won't host 'Saturday Night Live' for this season, Lorne Michaels, the creator of the show says.
It seems that fans of "
Twilight" hunk
Robert Pattinson will get disappointed as the British actor won't host American sketch comedy "Saturday Night Live". "Not this season," Lorne Michaels, the show's creator, tells OK! Magazine at Natural Resources Defense Council 11th annual Forces For Nature benefit in N.Y.C. "We're all locked in with the hosts for this year."
Despite the fact that Pattinson won't host this season show, Michaels says there is still hope that the 22-year-old actor will join the cast members,
Andy Samberg and
Kristen Wiig, in the future. "Yeah, yeah, of course," Michaels testifies. Being asked about whether Pattinson is a good host for the show, Michaels admits, "Don't know. You never know".
"Saturday Night Live" is a weekly variety show. It was first broadcast in N.Y.C. on October 11, 1975 and has become one of the longest-running network programs in the history of American television. In addition to Samberg and Wiig, the cast of the show also include Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Bill Hader, Darrell Hammond, Seth Meyers, Jason Sudeikis, and Kenan Thompson.
