Splitting in 2008, Pink and Carey Hart currently are trying to rebuild their relationship. The 33-year-old motocross racer tells People that he and his ex-wife reconsider about the future of their romance. "We're rebuilding. Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps backwards to move forward," he says. "We're definitely putting in work [our relationship]."
Hart reveals that he is really proud of Pink's talent and dedication in music industry. "The thing about Pink is she's so dedicated to her fans and putting on amazing live shows," he states. "She might not see the record success of a Britney Spears but the girl sells a hell of a lot of albums. She's incredible."
Pink and Carey Hart tied the knot in Costa Rica on January 7, 2006. Unfortunately, the couple announced their split two years later. The twosome, who remains good friends after the split, was spotted spending time together by riding a motorcycle and hiking together over the last few months.
In related news, Hart is planning to switch his current occupation as a motocross racer. "I just got into short core truck racing. It's like super cross in race trucks," he admits. Besides, he also plans to be an athlete again in the coming years. "I'm really just focusing on my business but also being a great athlete again," he tells People. "It's something that's in me. I'll be that guy who's 70 years old who's pounding through the desert on a dirt bike."
