Demi Lovato and John Mayer build a friendship on Twitter after they compliment on each other.
has started building a friendship with
John Mayer via Twitter. The Disney star began greeting John by saying "hi" and she got a response from the 31-year-old rocker who called her single "La La Land" from her first album "Don't Forget" "sophisticated".
"You're going to make lots of records, I can tell," he wrote on his Twitter page on Thursday, April 9. "Write one song at a time, never apologize for any of them, ever. From 'Wonderland' to Trio stuff, they're all my kids."
Feeling complimented by John's statement, the 16-year-old cutie replied, "Holy crap. Thank you. You're so awesome". Besides, she admitted that the praise she received from John has become an inspiration for her to expand her career. "That is quite possibly the best compliment I've received in this business. ... If that's not inspiration, then I don't know what is! You're incredible," she said.
Recently, Demi Lovato told MTV News that she was desperate "to do more John Mayer-ish type of songs" on her next album, which is scheduled to be released in summer. "Hopefully, I can write with people like him," she previously stated. "I love their music-it would be amazing."
