Jamie Foxx finally made an apology to "Hannah Montana" star
Miley Cyrus on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" broadcast on Tuesday night, April 14 after he insulted her in his Sirius radio show. "I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere," he said. "I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don't mean any of it. [Big laugh from the audience]. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far."
"I have a radio show...We're really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said," he continued. "I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart."
Trying to apologize one more time, Jamie said he "completely understand" the attitude of the 16-year-old cutie as a teenager. "Miley, I apologize, so I'll call you. I got a daughter too," he stressed.
Jamie Foxx mocked Miley Cyrus over the weekend in his radio show as he disagreed with the 16-year-old's attitude toward
Radiohead at the 2009 Grammys. At that time, Miley was desperate to meet Radiohead, but the band declined to meet her. As a result, she left the event angrily and threatened to ruin the band's career.
