Green Day's frontman Billy Joe Armstrong is desperate having Robert Pattinson to be one of the models in the band's 8th album "21st Century Breakdown". The album tells about two new protagonist characters named Gloria and Christian. Billy Joe wants Robert to portray Christian and Ellen Page to play Gloria.
"The girl that played in 'Juno' [Ellen Page] - I think she could be Gloria," Billy Joe tells Spinner.com in an interview. "And Christian, I'm gonna say maybe that kid in 'Twilight' [Robert Pattinson]. He's a good actor. There's still more to come with that kid."
Green Day is an American rock band which is formed in 1987. There are 3 members of the band; Billy Joe Armstrong as vocalist and guitarist, Mike Dirnt as vocalist and bass guitarist, and Tre Cool as drummer and percussion player.
The band's upcoming album "21st Century Breakdown" is produced by Butch Vig. The album is divided into three acts: "Charlatans and Saints" and "Horseshoes and Handgrenades", and "Gloria and Christian".
