Hilary Duff Pregnant on the Set of 'Provinces of Night'

Hilary Duff portrays a pregnant woman in her upcoming flick "Provinces of Night". The 21-year-old actress/singer was spotted filming the movie in Wilmington, North Carolina on Thursday, April 16. Wearing sexy purple dress, Hilary smiled to the cameras and showed a baby bump. Unfortunately, the name of her character in the flick hasn't been revealed yet.

"Provinces of Night" is a film adaptation based on a book of the same title which is written by William Gay. The movie is directed by Shane Taylor. Toby Keith, Pell James, and Bruce McGill also star in the film.

Set in 1952, the film is centered on E.F. Bloodworth, a man who comes home after 20 years traveling to look for a "faded wife and three bitter sons". Arriving at home, the man only receives a warm welcome from his grandson Fleming, who rejects the bitterness of life after learning about love from a pretty woman Raven Lee. The movie is set to be released in U.S. theaters in 2010.

Last month, Hilary Duff was spotted filming a scene for her guest appearance on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". Also joining her on the set of the TV show were Annie Potts and Mariska Hargitay.
