Robert Pattinson Becoming Actor to Meet Pretty Girls

Robert Pattinson says he has decided to become an actor as he expects to meet many beautiful girls.

Robert Pattinson opens up in an interview with The Independent that he wants to be an actor as he expects to meet beautiful girls. The 22-year-old hunk says his father has motivated him to get involved in movie industry by first joining with amateur productions at Barnes Theatre Company. "[My dad] saw a bunch of pretty girls who were going to it," he confesses. "[He] said: 'Hey Rob, you've got to go to that.' That's the reason I still do it!"

Still in the same interview, Pattinson reveals that he doesn't really consider about rumors of him dating several actresses, including Camilla Belle and Kristen Stewart, his co-star in "Twilight" and its sequel "The Twilight Saga's New Moon". "I don't really care about it," he testifies. "I have the same little set of friends and I don't have anyone who would really get affected adversely [by false rumours]. Every single person who they sort of romantically link me to... I just don't even really know anyone. So it doesn't really affect me that much."

About his current fame, the young actor shares he isn't used to be surrounded by many fans. "It's a weird experience," he says, adding, "and you do tend to start getting a little bit paranoid about stuff. Looking around when you're walking down the street, in case you get mobbed by teenage girls!"
