Marrying her husband Jay-Z for a year, Beyonce Knowles is expecting to have a baby. The 27-year-old R&B singer said she is really interested in motherhood. "I do, yes...of course, I want to be a mother," she told Larry King on Thursday, April 23.

"I only pray that my relationship with my daughter is like the relationship I have with my mother," she continued. Though she currently isn't pregnant, she still believes that she will get the baby when the "time is right", as she stated, "When it is meant to be, it will."

Beyonce Knowles was romantically linked to Jay-Z in 2002, following their collaboration in Beyonce's single "Bonnie and Clyde". However, the twosome hasn't made their relationship into public. On April 4, 2008, the couple officially tied the knot.

Most recently, Beyonce attended the New York premiere of her new thriller movie "Obsessed". In the flick, she portrays Sharon, the wife of Derek Charles, a successful asset manager who has just received a major promotion. Being asked about seeing herself on big screen, Beyonce said, "It's really weird to watch myself on screen. When I'm in the theater tonight I'll be watching the audience. It's a very strange thing to see yourself that large on the screen."
