22-year-old heartthrob Robert Pattinson plays a quirky musician on his upcoming drama comedy flick "How to Be". He recently was spotted filming a scene for the indie flick, wearing a pink-stripped shirt in a basketball court. He was seen giggling as he held a ball on his hand.
"How to Be" is a "dark comedy" directed by Oliver Irving and produced by Justin Kelly in association with IFC Films. The flick centers on an "enigmatic poet" named Art who struggles to escape from his depressed life by becoming a musician in London. He finally is inspired by a book entitled "It's Not Your Fault". Being excited by the content of the book, Art invites the author of the book to live with him and his parents, which soon becomes "painfully funny journey about dysfunction and growing up".
About hiring Pattinson for the lead role for the movie, director Oliver Irving told Teen Vogue, "Rob was thinking of giving up acting but wanted to try out an indie film where he could get into a character". The movie is set to be released on Wednesday, April 29.
In related news, Robert Pattinson was seen landing in Vancouver International Airport on Sunday, April 26. Also spotted arriving at the airport was actress Brooke Shields, who was believed being in the same flight with Pattinson.
