Maggie Gyllenhaal and her beau of 7 years Peter Sarsgaard finally exchanged vows in a small chapel in Brindisi, Italy on Saturday, May 2. Maggie's younger brother Jake Gyllenhaal and his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon were seen among the guests at the ceremony.
Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have been dating since 2002. Both of them were engaged in April 2006. The couple, who currently is living in Brooklyn, New York, has a daughter, Ramona, who was born on October 3, 2006.
Last month, the twosome was reported planning to get hitched in Italy on the second week of May. New York Post claimed that both of them would get married in a "sun-kissed Mediterranean ceremony".
Professionally, Maggie and Peter have starred in several movies. The 31-year-old actress' movie credits include "The Dark Knight", "Sherrybaby", "Mona Lisa Smile", and "Stranger Than Fiction". Meanwhile, Peter has appeared in several films, such as "Shattered Glass", "The Skeleton Key", and "Jarhead".
