Katy Perry said that she is not affected by brand as long as it looks good on her.
has her own style, there's no denial for that. She mentioned one of rock's most iconic, fashion-forward artists, Freddie Mercury, as her inspiration.
Although she often appeared in "worst dressed" list, she's got a good attitude towards her personal style. "It doesn't matter who makes it, where it comes from, whether it's your grandmother's closet or it's a couture showroom," Katy said as quoted in OK! "If it looks good on you, wear it!" Katy even has a name for her style that is "Lolita meets old Hollywood glam".
Katy often got critics for her fashion. But the "I Kissed a Girl" songstress firmly said that she isn't shocked by criticism of her fashion sense. "I like experimenting and I'm totally OK with ending up in the 'worst dressed'," she previously told Women's Health magazine. The 24-year-old singer continued, "I don't follow trends. I'm just not into what everyone else is wearing."
