Miley Cyrus, accompanied by her mother, participated on 16th annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women in Los Angeles.
took a part on charitable event by Revlon on Saturday morning (May 9), a day before American Mother's Day. Miley was accompanied by her mother, Tish, at that 16th annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women held at The Los Angeles Coliseum in Los Angeles.
The "Hannah Montana" starlet showed up from the backstage, saying "At the Revlon run walk for women! And I'm doing magic tricks backstage!" The 16-year-old actress offered up the peace sign to photographers covering the charitable affair with her mother next to her for several photo shots.
The EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women is among the nation's largest single-day fundraisers to help rid of women's cancers. Also participating at that event were actress
Christina Applegate who has shared her battle with breast cancer with the public, Carrie Ann Inaba of "Dancing with the Stars",
Jordana Brewster who survived from cancer and many others.
Besides Los Angeles, such event had been also held in New York City last week, which was led by actresses
Jennifer Connelly and
Jessica Alba, along with late-night host
Jimmy Fallon. The fund raised from the events will be used to support women's cancer research, counseling and outreach programs in both cities.
