Heidi Montag changes her name into Heidi Pratt, following her marriage with Spencer Pratt.
After her legal marriage,
Heidi Montag has officially taken
Spencer Pratt's last name and changed her name into Heidi Pratt. "When we filled out the marriage license, I checked the box to change my name to Heidi Pratt," she told Us magazine. "It's on my new license, credit cards and everything."
Heidi said that she wants to keep the "tradition", thus she changed her name. "Now that we're legally married, I wanted to do the right thing," she further added. "I want us to be a family in every way. When we have kids, I want us to all have the same last name." The couple was married last month (April 25) in Pasadena, California.
Heidi, who met Spencer in "The Hills", also said that she plans to use the name professionally. "Just like everything else, I'm gonna wing it," she explained. "When I did my album, it was still pre-wedding, so I may still be Heidi Montag there."
