Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Expecting a Baby Boy

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are expecting a baby boy which will be born in August, a pal of the couple informed In Touch. Nicole and Joel are already mom and dad for their first daughter, Harlow, now 16 months.

According to the information that widely spreads, both of them are hunting for blue stuffs for their second baby. Joel bought blue paint for the nursery while Nicole ordered some blue toys from FAO Schwarz.

"Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and - surprise, surprise - it's blue," the source informed. "Plus, she recently ordered some plush animals and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue." The source added that Nicole refers to the baby as "he."

Since becoming a mother, it has been reported that Nicole seems to have shifted her priority from attending social event to her family and their health. In an interview, Nicole even spoke about the importance of educating children on nutrition, diet, and going green.
