It is confirmed that Angelina Jolie's 2008 flick, "Kung Fu Panda", will be developed into TV series entitled "Kung Fu Panda: The Series". 26 episodes are going to be produced and the story will be made based on the movie, which is about new adventures of frisky martial arts panda named Po.
Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation SKG have reached final negotiation to produce the show. "We are thrilled to extend our ongoing collaboration with Nickelodeon, whose creative expertise in producing hit TV series is second to none," chief operating officer of DreamWorks Animation, Ann Daly, says. "The characters and worlds we originally created for 'Kung Fu Panda' are particularly well-suited to be further developed and explored in new and exciting ways."
Angelina Jolie is set to fill in the voice of Tigress. Meanwhile, Jack Black will fill in the voice of Po. The TV series are scheduled to premiere in 2010.
