Confirmed, Lauren Conrad Replaced With Kristin Cavallari in 'The Hills'

It has been confirmed that Kristin Cavallari will be joining 'The Hills' and replacing Lauren Conrad.

This season finale episode of "The Hills" will be the last appearance of Lauren Conrad on the show. It has been confirmed in Entertainment Weekly on May 14 by Kristin Cavallari who will replace Lauren. "I'm a completely different person than Lauren," she said in the interview about how her appearance will affect the show. "I have a lot more energy. I'm more outgoing. I'm a little more spontaneous."

But before the former "Laguna Beach" star broke the news, the newlyweds Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, at the Maxim Hot 100 party on Wednesday (May 13) night, have expressed their support for Kristin joining in the show. "There wouldn't be a 'Hills' if there wasn't a Kristin Cavallari, because the 'Laguna Beach' brand wouldn't have had the power," Spencer said which was agreed by Heidi.

Previously, Lauren has announced that the current fifth season of "The Hills" would be her last as star of the MTV reality series. However, there was a rumor said that Lauren is desperately trying to get back on "The Hills" after realizing there were few opportunities for her elsewhere.

The last episode of "The Hills", which is scheduled for May 31, will be about Pratt-Montag wedding. It is said that Kristin will show up to the Pratt-Montag wedding in which she will catch the bridal bouquet thrown at the wedding.
