The footage from "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" will be shown for the first time during 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Mark Burnett, the producer of the show, confirms Robert Pattinson will take the stage to present the clip. His co-stars, including Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, will also join him.
"Fans can tune in to the show to see sneak peeks from three of the most highly anticipated movies of the year," Burnett tells . "These clips have never been seen before, and we're very excited that 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' is one of them."
18th annual MTV Movie Awards will be broadcast from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on Sunday, May 31 at 9 P.M. ET. Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are nominated for Breakthrough Performance Male category. Kristen Stewart, in the meantime, secures a spot among Best Female Performance nominees. Then, the stars' vampire drama movie "Twilight" is nominated for Best Movie.
"Saturday Night Live" funnyman Andy Samberg is set to host the event. Additionally, Vanessa Hudgens, Lil Wayne, Denzel Washington, Cameron Diaz, Leighton Meester, Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, and Jonah Hill will be the presenters to announce the awards' winners.
