The father of Ashlee Simpson, Joe Truett Simpson, has denied rumors that his daughter currently is pregnant with her second baby. Writing on his Twitter page, he called the pregnancy reports "just totally not true".
Most recently, Ashlee Simpson was reported expecting her second child with hubby Pete Wentz. "She's just a few weeks along and doesn't want to tell the world for at least two more months," a source was quoted by Star magazine as saying, adding that the 24-year-old songstress was "beyond thrilled" to expand her family.
However, Pete allegedly was not ready yet to have another baby. "He loves Ash and Bronx, but he also loves his freedom. He thinks a second kid could change things for the worse. He doesn't want to be tied down and stuck at home all the time," another source stated of the Fall Out Boy bassist.
Ashlee tied the knot with Pete on May 17, 2008. They have a son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, who was born on November 20 the same year. Trying to congratulate the couple on their first wedding anniversary, Joe Truett Simpson wrote on his Twitter page, "One year ago today...My baby got married!! Congrats Ash and Pete."
