"American Idol" final this week (May 19 & 20) will be the battle of Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. But not less interesting is the guest stars performance on the show. Just a day before the show, Ryan Seacrest reveals the two-day "American Idol" final performers.
It was written in Ryan Seacrest's website that the performers are including Lionel Richie, Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, David Cook, and Carrie Underwood. As reported before, Carrie's rep has confirmed that the four-time Grammy winner will perform on Tuesday night. She will sing this year's farewell song, her cover of Motley Crue's metal ballad, "Home Sweet Home".
To MTV, an "Idol" spokesperson informed that other performers, beside Carrie, will show up on the result show on Wednesday. The top 10 idols will also appear among the stars as they have been back in Hollywood rehearsing for the big show.
The spokesperson also said there will be additional performances on the Wednesday night show, but the full lineup has not yet been announced. Another speculation said that Lauper might duet with Idolatry fave Allison Iraheta while Keith Urban could be singing with Kris Allen.
