Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden have announced that they put off their Christmas wedding plan due to their busy schedule.
Delta Goodrem and fiance, Brian McFadden have postponed their marriage. They claimed that they needed to reschedule their Christmas wedding this year due to their increased work commitments. "We were sitting down to try and organise the wedding and we were thinking 'we're never going to get this wedding organised by Christmas'," McFadden said.
"I know if we don't get married, everyone is going to say there are problems because we pushed the wedding back," the former
Westlife member explained. He added, "But we want to get married and take a nice block of time off, like three months, enjoy our families being there and have a nice honeymoon ... not get married between gigs."
Goodrem is now back in Australia to prepare her fourth album after unsuccessful attempt to break into the competitive American market. Meanwhile, McFadden is about to launch a new music project named Wall Of Sound with former Savage Garden producer Rob Connolly and is also busy filming the second season of Australian reality television series "Football Superstar".
The couple originally planned to tie their knot in December this year after becoming engaged in November 2007. They started dating in 2004 following McFadden's split from former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, with whom he has two daughters: Molly, 7, and Lily-Sue, 6. McFadden and Goodrem first met when they worked together on a duet song "Almost Here".
