"Shame for You" hitmaker Lily Allen allegedly has a special relationship with Australian singer Daniel Merriweather. Introduced by producer Mark Ronson, the twosome is said becoming inseparable for weeks.
"She and Daniel get along brilliantly," a friend tells British newspaper The People. "She's had a hard time with men and everyone hopes this will work out."
Lily Allen has been romantically linked to several guys since splitting from boyfriend Ed Simons in February 2008. Two months ago, she was reported being pursued by Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos, who previously dated Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. He tried to attract Lily's attention by sending five dozens of white lilies to her hotel in New York.
As of late, Lily Allen revealed her plan to stay single, so she could make better songs. "I've actually broken up with boyfriends for inspiration," she admitted. "When I hit a period of not being able to write music, I get up and I walk away. It's pretty mean - but it's true."
