AnnaLynne McCord Talks on Her Reason for Passing 'New Moon'

AnnaLynne McCord was about to star in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" as Heidi, but later she turned down the role. Recently in an interview with MTV at CW's Upfront Party, the "90210" star explained that she decided to pass on the movie due to scheduling conflicts.

The actress claimed that she was eager to play in the movie, saying "I am obsessed with vampires. I'm a 'True Blood' and 'Twilight' fan all the way." She continued, "There were scheduling conflicts and I really just needed a break. I worked two years, I came straight off 'Nip/Tuck' and on to '90210' and it's wonderful to work, but I needed some R&R."

She also said that she regrets for missing the role in the movie "I was [upset] 'cause I really love the film, all of them, the books and everything and I have a lot of friends on the movies." However, she has a good thing in return since she was able to have a holiday in Europe. "But in the end, I got to go to Europe for two months ... so I can't say that I'm too pissed."
