Though he currently is busy recording his debut album, runner-up of "American Idol" 8th season Adam Lambert says he is keen to start his acting career. "Obviously I'm concentrating on recording as opposed to movies, but I would love to go in that direction eventually," he reveals.
"A lot of people mention the Elvis Presley connection and in the heyday of Hollywood, artists got to do everything," he continues. "They did music and they did film. Something like that would be amazing."
In related news, Adam Lambert, who plans to release his debut album this year, admits that he wants to work together with Slash, the guitarist of Guns N' Roses, in the future. "This guy is so rad," the 27-year-old singer says. "Who knows? Maybe we'll be able to record with him in the future. I would love that."
Beside Slash, Adam also expects to collaborate and perform with legendary band Queen as long as he can still work on his album. "So if I could, I would try to do both. That's the honest question. I would try to do both. I would love to perform with them anytime they wanted me to but I also have my record to do. So, we'll see," he said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
