Video: Chris Brown Says He 'Ain't a Monster'

After allegedly beating his estranged girlfriend three months ago, wants to assure his fans that he isn't a bad guy. The 20-year-old singer just released a new short video, which was shot at Shaquille O'Neal's house.

In the footage, he says, "Everybody that's haters, they just been haters." Then, he goes on, "All my real fans, I love you. I ain't a monster!"

Chris Brown was charged with felony battery and making criminal threats for beating Barbados-born songstress Rihanna on February 8, just hours before their scheduled performance at 2009 Grammy Awards. Coming to a Los Angeles courtroom last month, he pleaded not guilty to both charges. The next court hearing for the case is on May 29.

In another Chris Brown news, the "With You" hitmaker mentions that he will release his new album "Graffiti" this summer. "But the new album is gonna be coming soon. We working on it right now. It's called Graffiti. It's got everything on it, so y'all be ready for that," he states in the short video. "I'm about to drop a single this summer for y'all. We ain't going nowhere."
