After Lily Allen gave a statement that she is not a fan of "Britain's Got Talent" star Susan Boyle, Kelly Clarkson showed disagreement by praising the Scottish singer's performance. Kelly has a different opinion to Lily, saying that she is a fan of the powerful-voiced singer. Kelly's support for Susan adds the list of celebrities who already become Susan's admirers, which includes Oprah Winfrey and Demi Moore.
"I think it's awesome. I'm bawling whenever I hear her sing," Kelly told The Associated Press in Hong Kong during the promotion of her new album "All I Ever Wanted". The Grammy-winning singer said Susan's rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables" sounded beautiful.
In the interview, the first season "Idol' winner, also said that she still tries to catch "American Idol". She thinks that the show's success has put more pressure on contestants. During the taping of the first season, "No one knew what to expect. No one knew if it was going to be successful," she said. "But now people know the stakes."
