On Wednesday, May 27, night, Paris Hilton was honored with Celebrity Fragrance of the Year by FiFi Fragrance Awards. But that's not the only reason why the actress was very happy that night, for it was also because her parents met Doug Reinhardt's mother for the first time.
At the event that celebrated the international fragrance community held in Manhattan, New York, the heiress came with her former athlete boyfriend, Doug. On that night, the couple celebrated Paris' FiFi Award along with her parents, Kathy and Rick, and Doug's mother, Kelly Roberts, and then shared a family dinner together.
"This is their first time meeting," Paris told E! Online at the backstage. The actress continued, "I've been on many trips with his family. I love his mom and dad. They're amazing... His mom flew all the way out here just for me because she wanted to see me receive this award."
Paris seemed enjoying their family meeting, saying "My mom and her love each other. They're so much alike, which is really cool. They're getting along and talking�." She continued speaking, "My dad is like his dad and my mom is like his mom, so it's really funny to see them to together and to see how well they like each other. I love it. We're definitely going to have a nice dinner when we get home and definitely hang out."
When asked about the possibility to bring their relationship to the next step, Doug said, "When it happens, it happens." He even admitted that they already had a discussion about their engagement, saying "We've talked about it and we're having fun right now."
