First Trailer of 'New Moon' Debuted at 2009 MTV Movie Awards

The footage from "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" that will be debuted at 2009 MTV Movie Awards is actually the first trailer of the movie. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be introducing the clip during the event, which will be broadcast from the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, California on Sunday, May 31 at 9 P.M. ET. At around 10:45 P.M., the high definition video will be released online.

This year, vampire drama flick "Twilight" is nominated for Best Movie category. Then, the film's leading actors, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner secure spots among Breakthrough Performance Male nominees. Kristen Stewart, in the meantime, is nominated for Best Female Performance category.

"Saturday Night Live" funnyman Andy Samberg is set to host the live ceremony. Additionally, Adam Lambert, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will join Vanessa Hudgens, Cameron Diaz, Leighton Meester, and some other presenters to announce the awards' winners.
