Angelina Jolie Back on 'Salt' Set After Suffering Minor Injury

Angelina Jolie is back on the set of her new spy thriller "Salt" after being hospitalized briefly for minor injury. The actress was taken to a local hospital on Friday, May 29, morning after she had an accident while filming the movie in their current location, Bethpage in Long Island, New York.

A rep of Columbia Pictures, Steve Elzer, has confirmed that Jolie has fully recovered and "is now back on set and will resume with production later this afternoon." Elzer released the statement of Jolie's recovery around 4:00 PM on the same day of the accident happened.

Previously, it has been reported that the Academy Award winning actress accidentally had her head bumped and got a cut between her eyes while she was performing a stunt. The spokesman, Elzer, said at that time, "As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie was taken to a local hospital, examined and released."

Jolie and the "Salt" crew have been working in the former Grumman facility in Bethpage for months. During the filming of the movie, Jolie and her partner, Brad Pitt, have been living on the North Shore with their children.
