Kimora Lee Simons and Djimon Hounsou have a baby boy. The glamor model announced the birth on her Twitter page. "It's a boy! Thanks to everyone out there for all your well wishes!" she tweeted on Saturday night, May 30.
Hours later, a representative for the reality TV star confirmed, "Kimora and Djimon are the proud parents of a new baby boy. Both mother and child are doing great." The rep also reported that the Phat Fashions CEO gave birth on Saturday morning.
Previously, Kimora tweeted about her process going into labor. "It's time !! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now!!" she wrote on Friday night, May 29. Two hours later she tweeted, "Having contractions now! Ooo- wee! It's like WHOA!" She even sent her picture lying on bed wearing hospital robe.
The baby, whose name has not yet been released, is the first child for the couple. The former "America's Next Top Model" judge already has two daughters, Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6, from her previous marriage with Russell Simmons, which ended in March 2007.
