A phenomenal Susan Boyle was rushed to a hospital on Sunday night, May 31. The "Britain's Got Talent" star reportedly suffered from emotional exhaustion after her stressful final performance in the singing contest, where she was runner-up.
Paramedics and police were called to the singer's hotel on Sunday at around 6.00 P.M. to help her through the lobby. She was said experiencing the Mental Health Act and thus was carried to Priory Clinic, a mental-health hospital, in Southgate, North London. A source at the hotel said, Susan had "been at the hotel for a few days, but since Saturday's final had been acting strangely, causing a bit of a stir."
A "Britain's Got Talent" spokeswoman informed, "Following Saturday's show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained. She has been seen by her private GP, who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery. We offer her our ongoing support and wish her a speedy recovery."
The star was reportedly shocked following her 2nd place finish behind dance troupe Diversity. Earlier, another source reported that Susan was in fury since she hadn't got her stage costume 15 minutes before she was due to perform on the stage. "They ushered her into a room, but we could still hear her swearing like a trooper," the insider said.
