Zac Efron Desperate Starring on Vanessa Hudgens' Flick 'Sucker Punch'

Zac Efron reveals that he wants to join his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens on her upcoming action film "Sucker Punch". Talking to Marc Malkin from E! Online at the backstage of 2009 MTV Movie Awards, the 21-year-old heartthrob opens up that he is dying to work together with the film's director Zack Snyder.

"I think it's an all-girl movie," Efron told Marc Malkin from E! Online. "But if there's any way to be in that film, I'd do it. I'd play a girl if I had to."

As for Vanessa Hudgens, she hopes to channel "some Angelina Jolie for her action-packed work" on "Sucker Punch". "I'm so stoked about it," she admitted. "I kept telling everyone, 'I want to do an action film.' But they were like, 'Maybe in a few years.' So I'm like, 'Ha, in your face. I am doing one now!'"

In addition to "Sucker Punch", Hudgens is set to work on "Beastly" and "Bandslam". Starring as a young talented musician on "Bandslam", Hudgens said, "It means a lot to me. I get to play a different character who is a lot darker and very deadpan throughout the whole thing."
