44-year-old star Sandra Bullock was spotted attending the world premiere of her new romantic-comedy film "The Proposal" at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood on Monday, June 1. Hitting the red carpet, Bullock looked beautiful wearing a black dress matched with sparkling necklaces.

Joining her to come to the event was her co-star Ryan Reynolds. That night, he was seen wearing a formal outfit. Other cast of the flick, including Malin Akerman, were also seen among the guests. Additionally, "The Bachelorette" actress Chris Harrison and its host Jillian Harris were all in attendance.

"The Proposal" centers on high-powered book editor Margaret who faces deportation to her native Canada. Doing an effort to cancel it, Margaret decides to get engaged to her assistant Andrew, whom she torments for years.

Later on, the unlikely couple heads to Alaska to meet his quirky family. Though she doesn't love him and his family, Margaret has to stick on the wedding plans so she can save herself from deportation.
