Susan Boyle is getting well after being rushed to a hospital for emotional exhaustion on Sunday, May 31, and looking forward to meeting her cat, Pebbles.
, the "Britain's Got Talent" star, has been hospitalized since Sunday night, May 31, for mental breakdown. She continues recovering and is eager to be back home soon. But among all, she is missing her four-legged friend, Pebbles.
In an interview with CBS' "Early Show" on Tuesday, June 2, Susan's brother, Gerry Boyle, talked about his sister's condition, saying "She needs to return from London to Edinburgh... Come home to Blackburn. Be at home for a couple of days..." He also added that she needs to "Be reunited with the now world-famous Pebbles cat, have a good cup of Scottish tea and... have a couple days just to come back to normality."
Susan has been looking forward to reuniting with her cat since she first arrived at Priory Clinic, a mental-health hospital, in Southgate, North London. At that time, she reportedly cried, "Where's Pebbles?" Medical personnel eventually had to arrange a phone call for Susan to speak to her cat.
During the interview with "Early Show", Gerry Boyle also uttered that his sister has some worries about her future career since she didn't win the competition. "Would you believe her biggest worry after Saturday night is - where does her career go from here? Will she be still accepted?" Gerry said, before adding "She didn't win the competition. Will people still want to hear her sing? And will there be a career for her as we stand here today?"
