LeAnn Rimes has denied the rumors of her stalking Eddie Cibrian, but she chose 'to take the high road on everything.'
LeAnn Rimes has been accused of being a "stalker" by
Eddie Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, but the country singer blasted the rumors. On Wednesday afternoon, June 3, she told People that she won't continue arguing with Brandi in the media, saying "You know what, I'm a classy woman, I'm never ever going to battle anything out in the press."
When meeting with People during Dior Beauty Lunch at the Shangri-la Hotel in Santa Monica, LeAnn also said, "I have respect for everyone that is involved and everyone's family, including my own." The star stated that she won't make her husband, Dean Sheremet, hurt by all the media reports about her, saying "I would never want to hurt my husband or anyone else with more lies dragged out in the press."
LeAnn further added, "It is what it is. I can't control other people but I can control what I say and what I don't. I refuse to get down on any one else's level and I'm going to take the high road on everything." Earlier in the day, the actress' rep has released a statement of denial, claiming "These comments are incredibly defamatory, and while there are always two sides to every story, LeAnn continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press."
