Police are now investigating the possibility that David was dead from an 'accidental suffocation' while doing sex act with rope.
Thai Police are now focusing on the possibility that David Carradine's death might be related to wrong sex act. The investigation comes to the actor's sex behavior since a rope was also found around his genitals in addition to a rope hung on his neck as reported before. "The two ropes were tied together," Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha informed.
The ropes might be used by David to have an autoerotic asphyxiation, a practice in which someone intentionally cuts off oxygen to the brain for the purpose of sexual arousal. This speculation is affirmed with a statement found in the "Kung Fu" star's 2003 divorce papers, in which his ex-wife, Marina, accused him of having "deviant sexual behavior which was potentially deadly."
With the investigation development, police now consider David's death might not have been a suicide, saying "It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not, or he died of suffocation or heart failure."
Meanwhile David's family and relatives thought foul play may have been involved in his death. "I heard from a producer in Bangkok that his hands were tied behind his back and that it's being covered up," his manager, Chuck Binder, said, before adding "How do you get a rope around your neck and around your genitals and do all this by yourself?"
An autopsy done to David's body has been completed on Friday, June 5, but the results will be released within at least three weeks according to procedure due to the "unusual circumstances" surrounding Carradine's death and pending toxicology results.
Another related information, U.S. Embassy in Bangkok has confirmed that David's body was shipped back to America on Friday evening, June 5, of Thailand time.
