Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus finally reunite, but not as a couple. The twosome recently recorded a version of tune entitled "Before the Storm", which comes from Jonas Brothers' upcoming studio album "Lines, Vines and Trying Times". In the track, Nick and Miley sing about their break-up's story.
"There's two versions of the song basically, one that was written just for our record that we sang originally," Nick told Twist magazine at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Monday, June 8. "And then I played it for Miley and we realized that if we just changed the lyrics a bit, we could make it more of our story, kind of share that side of us, and it could be great."
"So, we did. She came in and she and I sat down at the piano and just worked on lyrics a bit, tweaked it up, and it turned out great!" he continued telling Twist magazine. The track actually has been leaked online over the weekend, but fans didn't believe that the pair recorded the song together.
This news comes out during speculation that Miley Cyrus dumps her beau Justin Gaston to rekindle love with Nick Jonas. "She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing," a source tells E! Online. "She didn't cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time."
