Anna Paquin says 'True Blood' is totally different from 'Twilight' even though both are vampire stories.
It is true that both "True Blood" and "
Twilight" are vampires stories which include romance, violence, and struggle between good and evil. However,
Anna Paquin, the depicter of mind-reading Sookie Stackhouse on the TV series, states that both are totally different.
"They're completely different age groups that they're trying to appeal to," the 26-year-old beauty tells E! Online. "It wouldn't be appropriate for teenagers to be watching our show. I wouldn't have been allowed to."
Talking about the second season of "True Blood", Anna Paquin admits that there will be more sex scenes between her character and vampire lover
Stephen Moyer's Bill Compton. "I get more naked this season than I did last season," she says. "We have a really great crew and everyone's really respectful. It's not an issue for me."
Additionally, Anna promises that the story of the show's second season will be more interesting than the first one, testifying "The stories are exciting and sexy and scary and engaging." She then continues telling , "The characters are all very, very, clearly drawn and real, even though we take place in a very sort of surreal world, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. And every time you think things are going to go smoothly, something really effed up happens."
As of late, Anna Paquin was seen premiering the second season of "True Blood" at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. Her castmates, including Stephen Moyer,
Ryan Kwanten, Carrie Preston, and
Alexander Skarsgard, were all in attendance. Moreover, the TV series' director Alan Ball, was seen among the guests.
