'Twilight' stars Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene try to quit smoking as they want to become 'better role models for their fans'.

Nikki Reed and
Ashley Greene currently are trying to quit smoking. The twosome wants to be "better role models for their fans", including lots of little kids. "If there are a ton of paparazzi photos of them smoking, that's not a positive image," a pal of Reed confesses.
"Everyone on the cast smokes," the pal continues explaining. "And they are all trying to quit because they are on Twilight and know they are in the public eye."
To help them curbing the smoking habit, Reed and Greene use SmokeStiks, which "look like those fake cigarettes actors use in plays," but contain no smoke or tobacco. A tester of SomeStiks states, "There's no smoke; it just lights up when you puff."
Aside from their personal lives, Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene become close since they were filming "Twilight" and "
The Twilight Saga's New Moon" together. On the vampire drama movies, Reed portrays Rosalie Hale and Greene stars as Alice Cullen.
