It seems that Miley Cyrus has overcome her sadness due to the split from Justin Gaston. On Thursday, June 11, the 16-year-old teen sensation tweeted a photo of herself with her mom Tish in Savannah, Georgia, where she has been filming her upcoming flick "The Last Song". In the shot, she was seen showing off a new piercing on her nose.

Miley Cyrus reportedly broke up from her boyfriend of less than a year Justin Gaston on Sunday, June 7. She allegedly dumped the underwear model because she wanted to reunite with ex-lover Nick Jonas of Jonas Brothers. Most recently, Miley and Nick were photographed riding a jet ski on Tybee Island in Savannah, Georgia.

Commenting on rumors of her rekindling love with Nick Jonas, Miley Cyrus revealed that she felt "definitely reconnected" with the 16-year-old singer. Though she claimed that she and Nick currently are just best friends, the "Hannah Montana" actress said that she couldn't predict their future relationship.

"We still hang out all the time," she confessed in an interview with Woody and Jim in The River radio station. "We don't know what's going to happen in the future, but right now we're just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can."
