Miley Cyrus' dad Billy Ray Cyrus hinted 'Hannah Montana' fourth season will be the finale of the series, claiming that his daughter wanted the show to have official ending.
As reported before,
Miley Cyrus has signed a deal to appear in "Hannah Montana" new season. Her father,
Billy Ray Cyrus, gave hint that the upcoming season may be the finale of the TV series. "Quite frankly, I give a lot of credit to Miley for taking it to another year," he said in an interview with "The Billy Bush Show" on Friday, June 12.
Billy claimed Miley was willing to do another episode because she wanted "Hannah Montana" to have an official ending. He explained during the show, "She didn't want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did. She wanted it to build to where there's a moral to the story, to where it doesn't just end and go away and that's it."
Although Billy insisted that the 4th season was Miley's request, there were hints the actress had to do the series again due to legal terms. In the tapings of last season, the father-daughter-duo allegedly made some troubles in order to be fired. Miley and her dad once said they felt her music career can make more money. Thus, they started showing up late to "Hannah Montana" shootings last season, stalling production and fighting with her co-stars. However, she was still under contract which forced her to reprise her role in "Hannah Montana" regardless their opinion.
